What happens in a new patient appointment?

New patient examinations are as important as any of our other treatments we offer at Country Care Dental. The new patient exam is where we first meet and we need to get as much information about you as we can. This information is very important so that we can diagnose and treat you accordingly.

Our Certifications

Are all the dentists at Country Care Dental registered and licensed to work in Australia?

Our Dentists at Country Care Dental are all highly qualified and are AHPRA members – registered with the ADC and the Australian Dental Association and also Medicare. The Dentist will give you a selection of options and will always support your decisions whatever they may be. It is important for Country Care Dental to maintain our duty of care towards you as a patient.

Bulk Billing

Does Country Care Dental Bulk Bill?

Yes, at Country Care Dental we do Bulk Bill for Children’s treatment.

Does Country Care Dental accept children on the Centrelink Dental Benefit Scheme and does CCD claim from Medicare directly?

Country Care Dental does treat children under the Centrelink Dental Benefit Scheme and claims are processed on the spot—there will be no gap payment. Country Care Dental has opted to take the no gap option to accommodate all our valuable families.

Cancellations & Fees

Appointment cancellations & cancellation fees

As all appointments are high priority at CCD it is appreciated if you can inform us within 72 hours if you need to cancel an appointment. Yes, we do charge a cancellation fee within reason.

DVA Patients

Are DVA patients able to be seen at Country Care Dental?

Yes, DVA patients are seen at Country Care Dental because we value DVA patients like all our other patients. We do not charge a co-payment for DVA patients.
